Steelmaking Plant Reaches Cumulative Production of 15 Million Tons

The Steelmaking Plant at the Muroran Works of Mitsubishi Steel Muroran Special Steel Co., Ltd. (a member of our Group) achieved a cumulative crude-steel output of 15 million tons on 14 June 2024, since beginning operations in 1994.

To mark this milestone, President Shibata and other plant personnel gathered for a commemorative photo on 20 September. President Shibata conveyed a powerful message: “Let us continue moving forward together toward new goals.”
