Mitsubishi Steel Group exhibits as sponsor at WIND HOKKAIDO Hokkaido Offshore Wind Forum 2023

Mitsubishi Steel and Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery Mfg. Co., Ltd., members of the Mitsubishi Steel Group, exhibited at WIND HOKKAIDO (Hokkaido Offshore Wind Forum) 2023 as sponsor firms. They introduced activities related to offshore wind power generation at the event, which was hosted by the city of Muroran and the Muroran Offshore Wind Industry Promotion Association (MOPA) on July 20, 2023 at the Hokkaido Community Activities Promotion Center in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. Representatives discussed presentations displayed on panels and other exhibits and answered questions from attendees.

General Manager Nagaya of Mitsubishi Steel Muroran, members of the Mitsubishi Steel Group, took to the podium for a presentation given in Kaderu Asbic Hall to describe the role of Mitsubishi Steel Muroran as a supplier of steel parts and tower flange bolt materials for use in offshore wind power generation facilities, as part of the Group’s activities.

Having identified businesses related to offshore wind power as an important growth field, we will maintain proactive efforts to help achieve a zero carbon society.
