MSM took a stake in PT.JATIM TAMAN STEEL MFG. of Indonesia in August 2014, and a new rolling mill plant for manufacturing special round and flat steel bars, which is fully equipped from heating furnace to finishing inspection facilities, is currently under construction. The plant will start manufacturing round and flat steel bars in the Spring of 2016, and special steel billets have been supplied to the new plant from the steel plant in operation. MSM will establish manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs for local procurement of Indonesia and its neighboring countries, whose markets are expected to grow.
